Why weight management is important:

Maintaining a healthy weight is important for overall health and well-being.

Being overweight or obese increases the risk of developing chronic health conditions including such things as diabetes, heart disease, and certain types of cancer. It can also lead to joint problems, sleep apnea, and other health issues.

Being underweight can pose many health risks also including malnutrition, chronic fatigue, anemia and osteoporosis.
